Youths On Visit To Ogungbangbe For Betterment, Advised Against Disillusionment With Party Leadership

By ISAAC OLUSESI

Dr Thomas Ogungbangbe has called on political parties across  separate identities, manifestos, clientelism or patronage and social cleavages to afford the youth demography more constructive understanding of the extant formal groupings and _modus operandi_ for political participation and progressive activism to the acknowledgement of the political leadership, with the call described as a charge on representation in the party system.
Dr Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe stated this yesterday, Thursday, when two different groups of the extraction of the Osun State All Progressive Congress (APC) visited him in Lagos.

The groups separately expressed certain misgivings on the place of youths in party politics and like in a coalition, put concerted presentations to the host, on the betterment of the general youths in the nation's politics "to make democracy and party politics more grounded, more stronger and more sought after by youths,"  according to the youths.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES declared that it's a misconception for political parties to see the youth party members as a core problem in politics, and enthused, "The youths cannot be any problem. Going by the demographics of the members of any of the political parties, the members of the young people, men and women are more than the old adults. And the youths are a more creative force and catalyst for innovations and changes in the party system, power dynamics and electoral campaign geometrics of the high sounding poll winning blueprint or scheme."

"After all, you're all presumptively politically natured to superlative political activities," he told the youths, advising that they should always attend the APC regular meetings at respective levels and participate zestfully with grim determination to cause rational and orderly decisions for party building, capacity enhancement, and broadening unity and progress of the party. He added, "I must put you on guard. Listen to this caveat. You're not to put up any misplaced enthusiasm to get disillusioned with the party leadership."

Ogungbangbe who's unmotivated to self interest, has cutting edge strategies for the youths to give them desirable support, not wanting the extra time, extra energy and extra wealth decked in the youths burnt out; and a friend of the youths he's, he has intellectual, business and finance acumen to do all of that as presented and even more for youths with evidential benevolent impact on the generality of the people in the Ife/Ijesa axis of the state.

The APC politician and chieftain in the Osun East Senatorial District urged the visiting youths to take the advantage of the chances of ascendancy in party politics and governance as are currently granted by the  government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Ogungbangbe saluted the APC government at the center for diverse opportunities offered the youths to participate and grow in the nation's political decision making and administration of the party.

"President Tinubu has magnanimously discounted the global norms that permitted discrimination against the youth inclusion in governance," the icon of the Ajagbusi Ekun royal dynasty in Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of the state said even as he noted that evidences abound that the APC federal government has young people in his cabinet.

Prince Ogungbangbe asked the government to sign up more of youthful people at the next opportunity to do so.
