OSUN STATE MINISTRY OF HEALTH APPLAUDS DR. OLAKUNLE FAMAKINWA AND DR. OMOLOLA ADEAGBO FOR AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE

The Osun State Ministry of Health proudly congratulates Dr. Olakunle Famakinwa, Director of Planning and Research, and Dr. Mrs. Omolola Adeagbo, the State Epidemiologist, on receiving Awards of Excellence in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the development of public service in Osun State. These prestigious awards were presented during the Civil Service Week and Award Day, held on August 29, 2024, by the Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU) in collaboration with the Office of the Head of Service, Osun State.

Dr. Famakinwa and Dr. Adeagbo have demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing public health in the state. Dr. Famakinwa's strategic leadership in planning and research has played a crucial role in shaping effective health policies that have significantly improved healthcare delivery in Osun State. His dedication to evidence-based decision-making has set a high standard for public service in the state.

Dr. Adeagbo, as the State Epidemiologist, has been at the forefront of managing public health challenges, including her instrumental role in controlling outbreaks and ensuring the safety and well-being of the state's residents.
