Masilo celebrates Alani Akinrinade

A prominent politician  in Osun State  and former presidential candidate, Prince Adesoji Masilo Adeleke has extolled the virtues of the former Chief of Army Staff, General Alani Akinrinade as he celebrates his birthday.

Masilo who is an Ila-Orangun born prince and governorship candidate of the Booth Party in the last governorship election in Osun State described Akinrinade as a war veteran who devouted his time and resources to the unity of Nigeria.

He said the army chief went to series of war and fought for the unity of Nigeria due to his love for his father's land and his belief in one Nigeria.

Masilo who is a seasoned politician in Osun State said the contributions of Akinrinade to the state and the country at large cannot be underestimated, stress that he fought for the current democracy which we are all enjoying in the country.

The Ila-Orangun born prince urged up coming politicians to emulate the virtues of Akinrinade, who he said demonstrated his love for Nigeria in diverse ways.

He prayed to God to grant the retired military man good health and long life to continue to serve God and humanity, especially his home state of Osun.
