GOVERNOR ADELEKE APPOINTS NEW CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR FOR UNIOSUN TEACHING HOSPITAL

In a move to strengthen the healthcare sector in Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke has appointed Dr. Afolabi Babatunde Adeola as the new Chief Medical Director of Uniosun Teaching Hospital.

The appointment was made after a rigorous selection process, which saw Dr. Adeola emerge as the best candidate among nine applicants.
Dr. Adeola is a renowned medical practitioner and entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in leadership positions at Osun State University Teaching Hospital.

He was born on December 22, 1972, in Inisha, Osun State, Nigeria, and obtained his medical degree from the University of Ilorin.

Dr. Adeola completed his residency training at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, and is a fellow and examiner of the West African College of Physicians.

He has held various leadership positions, including Casualty Officer, Accident and Emergency, Chief Resident, Family Medicine, and Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee.

Dr. Adeola is also an active member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the Nigerian Medical Association and the West African College of Physicians.

The appointment of Dr. Adeola as the Chief Medical Director of Uniosun Teaching Hospital is a significant development in the healthcare sector in Osun State.

Governor Adeleke has expressed confidence in Dr. Adeola's ability to lead the hospital to greater heights and improve healthcare delivery in the state.
