"Transformer Cable Theft Lands Yusuf in Legal Hot Water"

Adam Yusuff, a resident of Ede, Osun State, appeared before Magistrate V.O. Adedokun at the Magistrate Court Ede, facing charges of transformer cable theft and felony.

Prosecutor S.O. Ibrahim stated that Yusuff pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge.

Although granted bail in the sum of One Million Naira and two sureties in the like sum, Yusuff failed to meet the conditions and was remanded at the Ilesha correctional facility.

The case has been adjourned until July 25, 2024, for further hearing. Notably, Yusuff was without legal representation in court..
