University of Nigeria Association (UNN) alumni to honour Wife of the Governor ,Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke

The University of Nigeria (UNN) Alumni Association, Osun Branch, is set to honour Wife of the  Governor, Erelu Ngozi  Abeni Adeleke, with the 'DISTINGUISHED ICONIC LIONESS AWARD.'

The president of the association, Ogunbaniwo Henry Femi (PhD), made this known when the body paid a courtesy visit to the governor's wife on Monday.

Ogunbamiwo, in his address and clarification of visit, stated that the body sought to identify with Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke as a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsuka.

His words:" We're here to identify with Her Excellency on the excellent job she has been doing in the state through her NGO, Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation Empowerment Programmes for Women and Youths.

"The Alumni of the University of Nigeria Association of Osun Branch is proud of you and are preparing an Honorary Distinguished Iconic Lioness Award through the State Executive Council (SEC) in consideration of your immeasurable contribution to society and the development of mankind, which has found you worthy to be honoured," he added.

During the visit, the body also decorated Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke to recognise her as an alumna and a member of the association.
