OYELAMI APPRECIATES TINUBU, OYETOLA ON OYEBAMIJI APPOINTMENT AS NIWA's CEO/MD

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain in Isokan South Local Council Development Area of Osun State, Hon (Prince) Wasiu Oyetunji Oyelami, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the appointment of Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, former Osun State Commissioner for Finance, as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA).

Recall that the appointment of Oyebamiji who is also was once Managing Director of Osun State Investment Limited (OSICOL) was announced by the Presidency recently.

Prince Oyelami in his congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Wednesday stated that the appointment of Oyebamiji an Economist with the private sector experience spanning 28 years and public sector of about one decade, was well deserved.

The former Chairman, Isokan South Local Government Area of the state, explained that he was convinced that the newly-appointed NIWA MD/CEO would add value to his new office based on his past track record.

The Ikoyi born politician recalled how Oyebamiji has been a steady and loyal ally of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, even when the latter was the Osun State Governor.

Prince Oyelami, who appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Oyebamiji, informed that the appointment of Oyebamiji can be traced to his hard work, resilience and dedication to duty adding that Mr President would not regret the choice of Oyebamiji as the NIWA MD/CEO as he is a tested and trusted hand capable of driving his Renewed Hope Agenda.

He expressed his gratitude to the Marine Minister, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola for his confidence in Oyebamiji which necessitated his recommendation to President Tinubu and subsequently resulted into his new appointment.

Prince Oyetunji congratulate Alhaji Bolarinwa Oyebamiji on the well deserved appointment and wish him success in the huge task ahead.
