Osun Nawoj decorates Mrs Titilola Adeleke as grandmatron of the Association in the State

The wife of the Osun State Governor, Mrs Titilola Adeleke has eulogised the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ,Osun State chapter for the honour done her by making her the grand Matron of the Association in the State

Mrs Adeleke gave the commendation during her investiture by the association at Ede

According to the wife of the Gov,the award will encourage her to do more in championing the cause of Women and Children particularly the vulnerable ones in the society 

She commended Osun Nawoj for being a voice to women, children  and persons with disabilities as well as advocate for inclusion of women in government 

Mrs Adeleke who expressed her happiness to Osun Nawoj for being partners in fighting for the rights of women and children and for giving priority to the welfare of vulnerable children and persons with disabilities 

She however promised not to renenge in her efforts at promoting programmes that will have direct bearing on women and children in the state as well as to give girl child education a topmost priority 

  Earlier in her welcome address,the Chairperson of Osun Nawoj, Mrs Motunrayo Ayegbayo said   Osun Nawoj considered Mrs Adeleke for the post of Osun Nawoj grandmatron as a result of her selfless service to humanity particularly women and children 

  Mrs Ayegbayo added that this can be seen through her various women developmental programmes and her interest in the emancipation of women 

She appealed to the wife of the Gov to solicit for appointment of more women in government from her husband  Senator Ademola Adeleke who is also a gender friendly governor 

    Osun NAWOJ Chairperson said Mrs Adeleke is a role model and a good example to womenfolk and pray for more wisdom,knowledge and understanding to excel in all her endeavours
