Ọlá Health Centre Death: Osun Govt. Promises To Forestall Reoccurrence

Osun   State government has expressed sadness over the recent death of Mrs Roseline Omidele, who died after giving birth to a set of twins at the Ola Primary Health Center, in Ejigbo Local Government area of Osun State.
Chairman of Osun State Primary Health Care Centers Development Board, Alhaji Adisa Tajudeen made this known when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Ola.

Alhaji Tajudeen admitted that insufficient medical materials such as ambulance, drugs and personnel at the health center to take care of the deceased led to the ugly incident.

While noting that it was worrisome that such an incident happened in the state, the chairman promised that the government would do everything within its powers to guard against any recurrence.

He promised that the state government would make necessary arrangements to equip the health center and other health facilities across the state with adequate medical materials.

Alhaji Tajudeen equally said the state government would take up the responsibility of the set of twins birthed by the deceased.

While expressing his gratitude, the husband of the deceased, Mr Ayoade Omidele, thanked the state government for the visit, and pleaded for more financial assistance for the upkeep of the infants.
