Land Matters: Osun Govt Declares Readiness To Work With Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors And Valuers (NIESV), Says George Alabi

The newly sworn in Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, Hon. George Alabi on land matters in the state has declared that Osun government under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke will work with the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV Osun State Branch.

Hon George Alabi made this assertion during the advocacy visit made to his office by NIESV Osun branch executives led by its Chairman ESV Adekunle Adedoye M.Tech, ANIVS,RSV on Friday.

According to the Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, the institution is a professional one versatile with land asset, valuation and other cogent property issues which will aide development of the state.

He added that the government of Governor Ademola Adeleke will work with the great NIESV professionals in Osun institution in the areas of Valuation, Land Acquicision and compensation, feasibility & Viability appraisal, facility management, project development etc and the association on availability and urged successful collaboration.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Osun State chapter of the institution, ESV Adekunle Adedoye stated the resolve and assurance of availability, of the association to work with Osun government for the growth of the state.

He added that Osun state has the history of land matters and Osun government with joint partnership with Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV, and he postulated that the constitution guidelines supports the joint development ventures in the interest of Osun state.

Earlier, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Lands, Dr Isiaka Adekunle said he was happy seeing the Osun branch of NIESV led by energetic young guy, and he appreciated the Institution for the courtesy visit to the Lands ministry, which he said is NIESV constituency.

Others at the courtesy visit of Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV Osun to the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning include: Special Adviser to Gov Ademola Adeleke on Lands, Hon Jelili Adeniran, ESV Pst Segun Fasiku fnivs - IPC, ESV Prf Seyi Adegoke fnivs, ESV S.A. Adewuyi fnivs, ESV Hon Johnson Adegboyega Ojo ANIVS, RSV and ESV Kola Oluwe Anivs - state Treasurer.

Others are ESV Sade Salami ANIVS- financial Secretary, ESV Rasaq Akinniyi Anivs, ESV Olufemi Omisore - Director of Lands services, and ESV Seyi Falope - Director of Land Acquicision and compensation of the Ministry of Lands And physical planning, Osun State.

Highlight of the advocacy visit by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors And Valuers Osun State Branch was the presentation of congratulatory frame to the Hon commissioner of Lands And physical planning, Osun State.
