Osun NAWOJ Congratulates Wife of Gov on NET AMBASSADORSHIP, Collaborates on Women Development

Osun Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ has congratulated the Wife of Osun state governor, Chief Mrs Titilola Adeleke on her investiture as NET AMBASSADOR for Elimination of malaria campaign in Osun state.


This is as the frontline women association collaborates with the wife of the governor, on women, children and persons with disability development friendly programmes.
Similarly the Wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs Titilola Adeleke expressed her acceptance on collaborating with the women journalists, taking cognizance on promotion of their welfare.


Mrs Adeleke made the declaration while playing hosts to the state executives and members of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Osun NAWOJ at her official residence.


She acknowledged the vital roles being played by women for the development of their homes and society, whom she described as "salt of the world, agents of change, for the betterment of our homes and society."


Stating that "the vital role of women cannot be over-emphasized, she accepted the partnership with the state nawoj towards actualizing the associations objectives."


Earlier in her remarks, the Osun NAWOJ Chairperson, Mrs Motunrayo Ayegbayo acknowledged the motherly role being played by the wife of the Governor since the inception of the administration of her husband, the Executive Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.


While congratulating the first lady on her conferment as the NET AMBASSADOR on Malaria Elimination Campaign, she declared the readiness of the association to collaborate and get involved in the programmes of the Wife of the governor.


Ayegbayo solicited for inclusion in government intervention programmes and sponsorship of NAWOJ activities, hammering on development of women affairs with the target of making our society a better place to live.
