Malaria Prevention: Osun Households Receives Free Insecticide Treated Nets (Photo panorama)

Osun households as targeted by the governments, National Malaria Elimination Program NMEP and malaria partners have began distribution of the free insecticide treated nets ITNs to households in Osun state.

This is as the households captured in the 3.6-million insecticide treated nets started receiving the ITNs of Thursday July 6 across local government areas in the state.

The Coordinators, Mobilizers, Conveners and Distributors all arrived early to do the door to door distributions.

Flag off ceremony also held at the various centers in grassroot areas across Osun state.

Reactions captured on faces of the beneficiaries at Boripe, Irepodun and Boluwaduro local governments should the gesture was acknowledged and appreciated.

The distribution of the free insecticide treated nets will hold between July 6 and July 17, for the 2023 edition.
