JAMIU IBITOYE EMERGES, CHAIRMAN OSUN FORUM OF LOCAL GOVT INFORMATION MANAGERS

Osun State chapter of Local government Information managers have appointed Comrade Jamiu Ibitoye as its Chairman.

Comrade Jamiu Ibitoye emerged Chairman during local government stakeholders meeting.

The meeting had in attendance,the chairman Forum of Directors, Social Development and Information, Comrade Shadrach Ologbenla, secretary of the Forum, Elder Bukola Elufadejin and Public Relation Officer of the Forum, Pastor Abioye Samuel.

Other Stalwarts of the Forum includes Dr. Adedapo Owolabi among others.

In his welcome address, the outgone Chairman and present Director of Social Development and Information,  Comrade Bayo Oladotun thanked the senior coleaques and other executive members that participated in the election for their sportsmanship, courage and cooperation during his tenure.

He used the medium to appeal to other executive members of the Forum to cooperate with the choice of Comrade Jamiu Ibitoye, he called for supports.

Prior his emergence, Comrade Jamiu Ibitoye was the immediate past vice chairman of the forum, he took the mantle of leadership as the new Chairman, while Mrs Akintoye Alice was appointed the Vice Chairman.

Other members of the executives includes, Comrade Femi Olawoye: Secretary, Comrade Babatunde Olonade: Treasurer, Financial Secretary is pastor Ogundiran, and Comrade Julius Daramola is the Public Relations Officer among others.

In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman for Forum of Local Government Information Managers,  Comrade Jamiu Ibitoye appreciated the leaders and members of the forum for counting him worthy for the job and he promised to perform beyond expectedly.

Encomiums and words of encouragement were passed by all on both the outgoing executive and the new one.d
