Nigeria Decides: The Turn-Out Is Impressive, says SRJ

Candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Osun Central Senatorial district, Senator Ajibola Basiru has described the ongoing general elections in the state and the country at large as impressive.

Senator Bashir who is vying for a second term slot to the Senate stated this after he cast his vote in his ward in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.

He similarly expressed happiness over the orderliness that greeted the exercise with no report of violence or misconduct of any kind anywhere in Osun state .

Speaking further on what may likely be the outcome, the legal practitioner cum law maker said there is no conclusive opinion yet until after the process and collation of results.

Commending the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC on its good arrangements, Bashir added that the Biomodal Voters Accreditation System, BIVAS had little hitches in some parts of his constituency such as Olorunda Ward 11, Unit 4 and some other places in ward 10 of Osogbo Local government.

He, however, pointed out that the issue had been reported to INEC.

He also commended the good turnout just as he urged all to be orderly and peaceful before, during and after the whole election exercise.
