THE INAUGURATION OF THE NEW G 21 LOCAL GOVERNMENT MEMBERS, IFELODUN, BEGINS THE REBUILDING OF THE APC POLITICAL STRUCTURE, OSUN

It was a great day for members of the G 21, (Osun Network) who all converged at the country home of one of their APC State leaders in the person of former Commissioner of Information during the regime of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. Hon Adelani Baderinwa with the new G21 members who were ushered into the fold of the group with the grand inauguration. 

The group has vowed that the disharmony that has polarized the factions of the party would be nipped in the bud if they take the bull by the horn and set the ball rolling for other embattled and fractionalized groups in the APC  to take a cue. 

When all the political congregants arrived on the scene and the introduction of people in attendance was asked to be observed by the Media Secretary, Wahab Olanrewaju (Regulator), and the President of the group delivered the keynote address, the host leader was invited to the high table to make his speech.

The secretary of the group, Lawal Adebowale also later made his contribution, thanking the leader for hosting them.

While the speech of the host leader lasted the aggregate of his submission was to admonish members to be patient in that the period APC will reign in Osun political calculation as envisioned by Ogbeni Aregbesola has never been lapsed. His speech corroborates the G 21 President's submission who came up with an emphasis on the political struggle that midwifed the government of APC in Osun from April 16, 2005, to 2018. 

All their reminiscences centered around the trajectory of unheeded chastisement they meted out to the drifting APC Governor, Ileri - Oluwa who they passed the baton of government to and who later sidelined a great number of political strugglers who were well-trained by the ingredient of running the processes of winning elections. The concomitant result of sidelining the core political strugglers culminated in the loss recorded by the APC to the opposition in Osun, just recently. The leader posited that it was not the time to continue to ruminate over spilled milk but to let the whole world know that the struggle to take the party back from the opposition has started in earnest.

After taking the oath of inauguration, all the members were treated to some sumptuous meals and assorted drinks in the leaders (in - house) auditorium. 

The instructive message the G 21 is passing to the populace in the nick of time across the state is to give a clarion call to all political stalwarts to join the fray irrespective of their political affiliation and leaning for APC to take back its lost glory.  

The group is also planning to reach out to the remaining 29 local governments in due course for other inauguration  where they have selected progressive loyal politicians to rebuild the structure of the party back to reckoning. 

They have also vowed through this arrangement to win the forthcoming election for their President, Senators, House of Rep Members, House Assembly Members, LG Chairmen, and Councilors. The inauguration meeting came to a close at the sunset.
