Prince Awofisayo Congratulates Osun Ex-Gov. Akande on 84th Birthday

A chieftain and member of the Elders' Caucus of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun State, Prince Felix Adeyemi Awofisayo has felicitated with the Pioneer National Chairman of the party and former Governor of the state, Chief Adebisi Akande on his 84th birthday. 

As contained in a congratulatory message issued and signed by his media consultant,  Kayode Agbaje and made available to journalists in Osogbo, the state capital on Sunday, the Ile-Ife-born Prince highlighted the celebrant's numerous achievements as the state's helmsman which till date have remained unsurpassed by other administrations after his.

"The celebrant's tenure as Osun State governor witnessed tremendous progress which has remained a reference point to even his critics till date," Prince Awofisayo stated.

According to him, Chief Akande in all contexts deserves to be celebrated by all lovers of democratic ideals in view of his contributions and sacrifices to the nation's current democracy. 

"The celebrant deserves to be celebrated by all lovers of democracy in view of all his sacrifices and contributions in ensuring the success of the nation's current democratic institutions," he added.

The blue-blooded prince from the source also appreciated the former governor for never holding back his priceless advice whenever the need arises to the national political leadership in Nigeria.

Prince Awofisayo therefore prayed for the celebrant to stay around longer in good health to witness more graceful years.
