Workers welfare will be given priority attention, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital CMD assures
Chief Medical Director of the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Prof. Peter Babatunde Olaitan has declared that his administration will continue to give priority to staff welfare.

Prof. Olaitan gave the assurance while playing host to the State Executive members of the Non Academic Staff Union of Educational Institutions who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

The Chief Medical Director said his administration will always prioritise welfare of staff by ensuring that every staff receives his or her various benefits as and when due.

He said the management is currently working on the actualization of the  new hazard allowance.

Prof Olaitan also made it known that about 450 staff were upgraded to their various appropriate grade levels and also, seven Deputy Directors were promoted to the post of Directors in the hospital. 

He appreciated the Executive Members of the Non Academics Staff Union and Associated Institutions (NASU) UTH Branch for their unalloyed supports to the Management in improving the welfare of the hospital staff.

In his speech, the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Kunle Ogundepo gave kudos to the Chief Medical Director and his Management Team for all the Staff developmental policies. 

He said the Union will continue to support the hospital's Administration on every area that will promote  Staff  development.

Meanwhile, the State Executives of Non Academic Staff Union of Educational Associated Institutions (NASU) Presented an Award of Excellent Performance to the Chief Medical Director.

Those in attendance are the Director of Administration of the hospital, Mr. Anthony Fabule, Director of Nursing Services, Mrs Beatrice Atanda and all the State Executives of NASU.
