Oyo Agog with "Cream de la Cream" of the Society as Cleric Daud Igi - Ogun presides over the Commissioning of his Arabic and Islamic studies Institution's edifice

The multitude of celebrities that attended the commissioning of the institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies Ajegunle, Ori - Awo, Oyo, which was developed by the famous Nigerian Cleric, Daud Igi - Ogun had very many other important celebrities from every walks of life i.e  from different political constituencies to the downtrodden. This was evident as many of these celebrities were given one role or another  to perform at this occasion. The representative of the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Chief Host of the day;  Senator Mudashiru Husian, who also was an awardee of the day commissioned the 1st Phase of the 2 Storey Edifice. Before the commissioning, Senator Mudasiru Husain got his award after many awardees have been presented with their awards and their citation rendered in their presence, the reason for the award and honoring was equally spelled out. Senator Husain's reason for the award and honoring was given as "He is an honest and loyal person. He is loyal to His Excellency, Alhaji Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Imam Daud Igi-Ogun. His trust and integrity are second to none and He is also ready to sacrifice his efforts to support Alhaji Rauf Aregbesola" His award was given in the midst of members of Osun G 21 who surrounded him at the podium as award was being given. 

The auspicious occasion has also been earmarked for 14th Walimotul Qur'an, 25th Anniversary Celebration, Award Ceremony & Commissioning of Ogbeni Abdul Rauf Aregbesola Building Phase 1.

Before this periodic agenda, Baba Ajibola Afonja, (father of the day), is the former Chairman of First Bank Nig. Ltd.; Chief Barrister Ahmed Raji (SAN), (Chairman of the day); Sheikh Imam Dr. Mos'ud Ganiy Adebayo Ajokidero III, Chief Imam of Oyo Land.; Sheikh Musbaudeen Akinkunmi (Aruna Elewi), Nulge Chairman, Atiba L.G; Alhaji Monsur ABD Hamid Ejide, Chief Launcher; Prince Semiu Adeniran, Chief Launcher; Alhaji Chief Hon. Tajudeen Ibrahim Ajibola, Chief Launcher were amongst some of those who later spoke on the podium. 

The guest speaker of the day was Dr.Marufdeen Balogun Al-Bayan, Chief lecturer, at the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta

The syncretic unification that existed between the Muslims and Christians came to the front burner when the emeritus Methodist Church Bishop, Bishop Ayo Ladigbolu was invited to the podium to speak. His admonitions laid credence to the fact that all religions adherent worship the same God Almighty. Thus, Religion should be seen as what should unify us as opposed to what should divide us.

Even though Ogbeni was unavoidably absent from the scene, his spirit reverberated throughout the auspicious occasion where the members of the Osun G 21 were there to hold sway for their grand patron.

The representative of the Governor, Osun State, His Excellency, Jackson Ademola Adeleke ably represented by Barrister Kolapo Alimi, the current decampee to the PDP from the APC spoke at length on the podium holding the audience spellbound while greeting almost all the celebrities in attendance and delivering the Governor's message.  Hon. Prince Akeem Adeyemi (Skimeh) who is the member of House Rep. in Abuja was also in attendance with his huge entourage.
