Prince Awofisayo Congratulates New Ogunsua, Oba Toriola

A chieftain of the ruling-All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun State and a Prince of Ile-Ife, Prince Felix Adeyemi Awofisayo has congratulated the newly-installed Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Olubiyi Joseph Toriola on his coronation and presentation of staff of office on Thursday 

This was contained in a statement issued and signed by his media consultant, Kayode Agbaje and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Osun State capital. 

According to Prince Awofisayo, the new Ogunsua's installation couldn't have come at a better time as the community currently needs a progressive leadership to pave way for its further development. 

"The new Ogunsua's installation couldn't have come at a better time, as Modakeke community needs a progress-minded monarch to lead her into further development. 

"I wish to reiterate that the new Ogunsua is an enlightened individual with broad exposure that will certainly reflect in his style of administration," he stated.

While enjoining Oba Toriola to see his installation as an opportunity of contributing his quota to the development of the ancient town, the Ile-Ife-born Prince admonished all Modakeke indigenes to rally round the new monarch in the task of taking the community to higher heights. 

Prince Awofisayo also stressed the need for the new monarch to continue to work more in ensuring peaceful co-existence with residents of all neighbouring communities. 

"The major task ahead of Oba Toriola is to ensure ways of fostering better understanding between Modakeke and all her neighbours, as nothing meaningful can be achieved in a warring situation," Prince Awofisayo stressed. 

The APC leader therefore enjoined all Modakeke residents and indigenes to rally round the newly-Ogunsua in the great assignment of ensuring peace across the length and breadth of the ancient town.
