Two Church Dogs Killed After Biting A Man to Death In Lagos State
 According to reports,after the brutal death of Hashiru Isah,who was walking down Fatokun Street in the Abule Egba neighbourhood of Lagos state before he was attacked and killed by two German shepherds.It was disclosed that the wandering dogs from a nearby Catholic Church were later found dead on Fatokun Street after being slain by angry locals.

A community leader, who doesn't want to be named to the general public,revealed to newsmen that, some Hausa indigenes who were highly pissed off with the manner through which the deceased,who is from their tribe was killed by the dogs, were prompted to trail the dogs and slay them.
According to another source, the dogs were able to get hold of the deceased after leaving the premises of the church and roaming the street because the gate to the church was broken.

He added, “on that night, the tribesmen of the Hausa man that was bitten to death killed the two dogs. On the second day, the case was reported at the Oke Odo Police Station and the man guarding the dogs was arrested.

“The next day, the man guarding the dogs was released. We don’t know what really transpired; the dogs are not missing, they have been killed.But the question is why was the man guarding the dogs released? Policemen came into the community in the middle of the night and started arresting people",he affirmed.

In addition,the community leader stated that after deceased were dealt with by the dogs, he was reportedly transported to two different medical facilities, but the doctors on duty didn't take him in for treatment as all these factors contributed to what led to his death when he was being rushed to the third hospital,Orile Age General Hospital.
In the meantime,the Superintendent of Police SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state's Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO),responded to the occurrence by saying that security operatives are still working on the case.

Although,he pointed out that the deceased's relations practically stayed away from the police station after retrieving his corpse from the police to carry out his funeral.
