Olojo Festival: Prince Awofisayo Felicitates with Ooni Ogunwusi
A prominent prince of Ile-Ife and frontline politician in Osun State, Prince Felix Adeyemi Awofisayo has joined millions of the town's sons and daughters to congratulate His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) on the occasion of this year's Olojo Festival. 

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued and personally signed by Prince Felix Awofisayo and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Osun State capital. 

According to the Ile-Ife Prince, Ooni Ogunwusi's era has seen the ancient town moving from heights to greater heights. 

"Kabiyesi Ooni Ogunwusi's era, since his installation, has seen the ancient city of Ile-Ife moving from heights to greater heights at an alarming speed," Prince Awofisayo noted.

Further paying more encomiums on the occupier of the ancient Ooni's stool, the frontline politician stressed that Ooni Ogunwusi has successfully raised the bar in traditional administration in the ways and manners he ( Ooni Ogunwusi) carries himself along with his chiefs.

He further appreciated the Ooni for the relative peace pervading the ancient city and its environs.

"Ooni Ogunwusi's style of traditional administration has successfully brought unprecedented peace and economic stability to the ancient city of Ile-Ife and its environs,"Prince Awofisayo noted further.

The octogenarian Ile-Ife-born Prince therefore stressed that as a member of Ile-Ife royalty, he could not wish the Ooni anything less than long life and successful reign and to celebrate more of Olojo Festival in good health and abundance. 

While admonishing residents and indigenes of the ancient city to continue in their prayers and cooperation with Ooni Ogunwusi, Prince Awofisayo charged the Federal and state governments to create constitutional roles  for traditional institutions to ensure sustainable peace across the country. 

Prince Awofisayo also used the occasion to prevail on all and sundry in Ile-Ife to celebrate the Olojo Festival in a calm manner and avoid situations likely to lead to breakdown of law and order in the ancient city.
