31st Anniversary: GOF Staff, Management Congratulate Osun Residents, Indigenes

Residents and indigenes of Osun State have been congratulated on the occasion of the 31st Anniversary of the state creation.

The congratulatory message was part of a statement issued and released to newsmen by the Media Department of Gboyega Oyetola Foundation, GOF (a Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO) on behalf of the Foundation's management and staff under Prince Felix Adeyemi Awofisayo in Osogbo, the state capital.

According to them the state has metamorphosed tremendously since its creation by the General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida-led military administration in 1991, precisely on August 27.

"Having being under different administrations with different approaches to governance, Osun as a state has indeed metamorphosed tremendously ranging from physical to increase in the population and development spread to all the nooks and crannies of the state," the statement added.

The GOF therefore admonished all residents and indigenes of the state to remain optimistic while looking forward to a better Osun State as it journeys into the future.

"Residents and indigenes of the State of the Virtuous have every reason to look forward to a better Osun State as the state journeys into the future," the GOF statement admonished.

The Foundation therefore used the opportunity to charge all to remain optimistic and focused, while fervently praying for better days ahead for the state to continue being shoulder higher than all its contemporaries.

"The future ahead looks promising, while all it requires are fervent prayers by all for better days to be fulfilled soonest," the Foundation stressed.
