Timi charges Ede indigens to participate in voting process as he felicitates Muslims on eid l kabeer

Indigenes and Residents of Edeland have been charged to play their roles actively in politics by voting for credible candidate of their choice in the Osun governorship election that is coming up next week. 

The Timi of Edeland, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa 1 gave this charge in a Sallah message sent to felicitate Muslims in Ede and Osun State in general.

Oba Munirudeen who noted that electing credible candidate of their choice is the only panacea to institutionalising good governance warned that the electorates must be wary of those who would offer to buy their votes in order to wrigle their way to public offices.

While admonishing Muslims to celebrate the Sallah moderately, The Timi of Edeland enjoined his subjects to imbibe the spirit of giving and make sacrifices in order to put the country on the right track.

The traditional ruler equally called on the people to be their brothers keepers and live in peace with their neighbours stressing that no society can develop in an atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.

The monarch therefore prayed that God will continue to bless the people as they continue to be law abiding in their daily endeavors
