JUST IN: Aregbesola Reacts to Adeleke's Victory

The Minister of Interior and Former Governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has reacted to the just concluded Osun governorship election.

Thirdeye had earlier reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission on Sunday morning declared Ademola Adeleke the Governor-Elect of Osun State after scoring a majority of votes cast in the governorship election in the state.

Following the feud between the Incumbent Governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola and the former Osun State governor, Aregbesola boycotted the election and had remained silent on development in Osun State.

Reacting to the election lost by his successor, Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Aregbesola reacted in a post titled, ‘Osun Le Tente’ on Sunday morning.

He posted a bible verse, Daniel 4:17, which exalts God’s power to place control in the hands of whoever He wishes.

“This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” – (Daniel 4:17),” the minister posted.
