Osun 2022: Group reiterates support For Gov Oyetola Re-election

Few months to the July 16 governorship election in Osun state, the Chairman of Governor Oyetola foundation (GOF) has solicited support for the All Progressive party’s candidate, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s re-election in the state.

He made this known on Thursday during a seminar tagged, “Training the Trainer” held at GOF head office in Osogbo.

In his opening speech, the Chairman of the foundation, Prince Felix Adeyemi Awofisayo said the purpose of the foundation is to emphasize the need for the electorate in the state to re-elect him for another four years.

According to him, the foundation is saddled with the responsibility to ensure that Governor Oyetola emerge as the state governor for a second term through majority vote by all.

He added that the foundation is not in competition with any existing structure rather, to be seen as partners to ensure that Oyetola is re-elected.

“GOF remains an intervention to work strategically with youth enclaves, slum communities, developing sites and politically passive constituents, hitherto unexploited and tainted with political apathy towards mobilizing them for the fast approaching governorship election,” he said.

Prince Awofisayo further said that the foundation will also explore all available media platforms to send their campaign messages to the entire Residents of Osun to continue to support the Governor Oyetola and to come out en-mass and cast their votes on July 16, 2022, also the foundation will source for funds from private individuals and corporate bodies whose vision and mission tally with those of the foundation. 

He highlighted the tremendous performance of Oyetola in the last three and half years  Governor focused on the masses free medical services in the state and creating avenues for economic development of Osun.

While reacting to the foundation, The Governor of the state of Osun, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola commended the Chairman of the foundation for a job weldone and he acknowledged him for his supports for Progressives  party in the time past
