LAB CONGRATULATES MUSLIMS ON EID EL-FITR

Observing the tenets of Islam has been described as an act of worship accepted by God and accompanied with spiritual benefits for Muslims across the globe.

This was indicated by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Social Intervention Programmes SIP, Lukman Abimbola Bello, LAB who praised Allah and congratulated the Muslim Ummah across the country on this year’s Eid el- Fitr celebration made globally to celebrate the end of year 2022 Ramadan which begins Shawwal 1443AH. 

Lukman Bello who stated that the Ramadan period which includes fasting, prayers, and performance of Umrah( voluntary) is a significant part of Islam, asked that Muslims should use the blessings of the period to continue to intercede to God on the state of the nation.

He added that residents of the state and Nigerians as a whole must dwell in peaceful cohabitation, embrace unity, shun ethnicity, crime and build a progressive and development economic sustainability as they move the nation of out its current challenges and take it to a greater height.

Speaking further, the SSA on Social Intervention in Osun, who is also the Focal Person on National Social Investment programme, NSIP said both citizens and the leaders have task to perform for the state and country to move forward".

He pointed out that "now is the time for everyone to come together and contribute their quota, as they support the government on its progress, so as for all and sundry to have a sustainable prosperous nation".

“We should give thanks to Almighty Allah for His mercy over us and our nation, and as Osun moves towards the decision of choosing a new leader, I plead with all to tender our massive votes for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola whose antecedent is a testament of good governance".

"All Glory to Allah for the peace and security enjoyed despite all the challenges around the country. As Muslims, we are peace-loving and should continue to so do because Islam teaches nothing other than peace and love for all".

“I encourage Muslims in the state and country at large to use this period as a moment of reflection, for more prayers and of love-sharing among people, not only of our faith but also to other faiths because we are one, together in unity".

“I urge us all to always pray for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria and Osun, our dear state. I also pray the blessings of Allah over our lives, and that God accepts our Ramadan sacrifice as an act of worship, LAB prays.

“I wish all Muslims happy Eid-el-Fitr and I pray Almighty Allah (SWT) accepts our spiritual devotion, Ameen”.
