Bamidele Salam Wins PDP Primary,Secured Party Ticket For Second Term

The member representing Ede North ,Ede South, Ejigbo, and Egbedore Federal Constituency at the federal House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam has won the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), retaining the ticket of the party for the second term, to flag, the party ticket come the 2023 general election.

Hon. Bamidele Salam won against Asaolu Ayodele David popularly known as Asler with 70 votes to 60 votes at the party primary poll.
He contested and won the Chairmanship election in Egbedore Local Government and served as Chairman of Egbedore Local Government from 2008 till 2010.

His tenure as Chairman of Egbedore Local Government witnessed several unprecedented achievements in the Local Government.

The giant strides achieved by his Administrative team in the LG were largely attributable to his uprightness and dedication to quality service delivery that will benefit the common man.

He proceeded to serve as the Head of Media in the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs.

He held this position until 2015 when the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan was succeeded by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Hon. Bamidele Salam was first elected in 2019 to represent Ede, Ejigbo, and Egbedore Federal Constituency of Osun State.
