ADEOTI CONGRATULATES AREGBESOLA @ 65

A former Secretary to the State Government of Osun and frontline member of the ruling-All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun State, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti has congratulated the immediate-past Governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

The congratulatory message was contained in a press statement issued and signed by Alhaji Adeoti in Iwo and made available to journalists in Osogbo, the state capital.

While praying for the celebrant, Alhaji Adeoti stated that the history of the state would be incomplete without mentioning the incredible roles played by Ogbeni Aregbesola, popularly called 'Symbol' by his numerous admirers during the struggle to liberate the state from the shackles of reactionary forces of the past.

According to Alhaji Adeoti, Ogbeni Aregbesola it was that made available all resources at his disposal to ensure the emergence of progressive administration being experienced in the state at the moment.

"If not for Ogbeni Aregbesola that spearheaded the struggle to liberate the state from the stranglehold of the reactionary forces by making all resources at his disposal available to us, getting political power back to the progressive fold would have been a mirage," he added.

He opined that the monumental roles played by the celebrant in creating an enabling environment for the emergence of the current progressive administration cannot easily be swept into the dustbin of history.

Alhaji Adeoti therefore prayed for Ogbeni Aregbesola for God to continue abiding with him and further use him for the development of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.

He further used the occasion to admonish Nigerians to continue praying for the government at the centre to enable it surmount the numerous challenges confronting it in order for a glorious Dawn to emerge.

The former Osun SSG also charged all Nigerians of voting-age to take advantage of the ongoing Voters'registration exercise and obtain their Permanent Voters'Cards to enable them vote in the forthcoming general elections.
