Two Presidential Aspirants Obasanjo May Endorse For 2023 Presidential Race

The Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo may endorse some Presidential Aspirants, irrespective of the Political Parties, they might belong to.

Chief Obasanjo has made it Known to the Public, that he doesn't belong to any Political Party. Obasanjo who won the Presidential election in 1999 and was re-elected in 2003 under the Platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

It should be recalled that, Chief Obasanjo tore his PDP membership card in the Public, where he declared to the Public, that he is no more a member of PDP and he maintains his stand, up till today.

Meanwhile, Some Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, had earlier visited Chief Obasanjo and he was Persuaded to return to PDP, which he refused to do so.

However, some Presidential Aspirants may get Obasanjo's endorsement, since he doesn't associate himself to any Political Party. One of the Presidential Aspirant, Obasanjo may endorse his Presidential Ambition, is the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The former President, Olusegun Obasanjo may Prefer Osinbajo to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC and the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who had earlier declared his Presidential Ambition.

It should be recalled, that Obasanjo was one of the Leaders, who supported President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 Presidential race to win the Presidential Election.

As a result of this, Chief Obasanjo can still endorse the Presidential Ambition of Professor Yemi Osinbajo to become the President in 2023.

Another Presidential Aspirant, that Chief Obasanjo may still endorse, is the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar. Atiku was the Vice President, to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for eight years.

As a result of this, Obasanjo may not hesitate to support him, due to the Past memory they have shared together. It should be recalled that Atiku made Personal visitation to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, at his residence in Abeokuta.

Though, the outcome of their meeting was not revealed to the Public, but the fact is that Atiku's Visitation to Obasanjo is all about his Presidential Ambition.

It should be recalled, that Chief Obasanjo supported Atiku's Presidential Ambition in 2019 Presidential race.

Though, Chief Obasanjo did not support Atiku's Presidential Ambition, at initial stage of the 2019 Presidential struggle but he later supported his Presidential Ambition.

This means, that Atiku may still enjoy the same support from Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, if he could emerge as Presidential Candidate of his Party, PDP.
