JOGBODO CONGRATULATES CHRISTIANS ON EASTER

As Christians in Osun and Nigeria join other faithfuls across the world to celebrate the 2022 Easter, all has been charged to use the Easter season which is based on prayer and fasting to rekindle the spirit of selfless support to the nation, peaceful coexistence, love for one another, forgiveness and hope for a strong, peaceful and united state and Nigeria as a whole.

Parmacist Oladele Gboyega Jogbodo, representing Osun in Revenue mobilisation allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC Abuja, made the advocation as he felicitates with Christians in the state on the resurrection of Christ at the Easter.

According to him, Easter Season represents one of the most important events in the Christian calendar, as it reminds Christians of the death, triumphant resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. 

Jogbodo who hailed from Igbaye in Odo-Otin Local Government of the state,  admonish everyone to continue the attitude of prayers, to tolerate one another, irrespective of religious differences, to be security conscious, to shun all forms of violence and to support one another and the government. 

He prayed 'that the resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead, breath new life into every dead situation of lives, protects all and quicken your mortal body to bring forth fruits that will glorify God and benefit humanity. Amen'.
