Dr Akin Ogunbiyi Expresses Profound Appreciations to All

Dr. Akin Akanmu Ogunbiyi who is the party Accord candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State has expressed his profound thanks and gratitude to God Almighty for His goodness and mercy especially and as received during the Declaration and Reception ceremony which held at the Freedom Park, Osogbo on Tuesday,26th April, 2022

In a statement made available to the press by Mr. Akin Adeyi, the Chief of Staff to the Ile Ogbo born Insurance magnate turned politician; Ogunbiyi first and foremost returned all glory and adoration to God Almighty for making the two-in-one ceremony to be a huge success. 

The statement also appreciate the National Working Committee of party Accord under the able National chairmanship of Hon Mohammed Lawal Nalado who personally led the National Secretary, Mrs Adebukola Abiola  Ajaja and other eminent leaders and members of the party from Abuja to Osogbo where they were part of the historical event. 

In the same vein, Ogunbiyi expressed his immense thanks to the State Chairman, Pastor Victor Akande and the state working committee members, leaders and other members of the Osun State chapter of party Accord that are too numerous to mention. “We thank them not only because of their warm and sincere welcome they accorded us but also for their magnanimity to make me the party’s standard bearer in this forthcoming election”. 

According to statement, the good people of Osun state have surpassed the expectations of Ogunbiyi with their unprecedented massive turn out at the event venue. This was a testament to the fact that the people are already tired of the old orders. They are, no doubt,  in a dire need for new arrangement which party Accord has come to offer at this time by presenting Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi for his election as the next governor of the state.

The statement also commend the deputy governorship candidate, Alhaji Kunle Jimoh and his team also the chairmen and members of event’s various committees for the courage and determination that made them to succeed in the difficult task in spite of the little time they had to deliver. “They are indeed men and women of rare super courage”.

Finally, Ogunbiyi said it is not yet uhuru. “The big assignment, which is winning in the election, is still ahead. Therefore, all hands must be on deck. We should not get carried away by this successful outing we just had. Instead, we have to consolidate on it. The experiences and strategies deployed to achieve this particular feat should rather be improved upon in a way that it can translate into votes for our dear party so that the good people of Osun can be set free and made happy” statement concluded.
