Let Peace Reign in APC - Prince Awofisayo Charges Party Leadership

A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun State and member of the party's Elders Caucus, Prince Felix Adeyemi Awofisayo has charged leaders of the party at the national level to allow peace reign in the party.

This was contained in a press statement personally issued and signed by Prince Awofisayo and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital.

According to the Ile-Ife Prince, the charge has become necessary in view of the lingering crisis bevelling the party at the centre over the National Caretaker Committee chairmanship position.

He therefore charged the party's national leadership to forget their differences as the party cannot afford to play into the hands of the opposition.

"My special appeal to the party leadership at the moment to exhaust all internal mechanisms to resolve the crisis without necessarily allowing external influences.

"The Year 2023 is just around the corner, therefore all hands must be on deck to ensure the party's victory at the general elections", he reiterated.

Prince Awofisayo opined that the party in its current state cannot face the general elections with a divided house.

He therefore admonished party elders and leaders across the country to put heads together and resolve the crisis without further delay.

While praying for a quick resolution of the party crisis, the APC chieftain also advised the voting masses to keep their Permanent Voters' Cards, PVC and see to it that their wards just reaching the voting-age are also encouraged to go and register and get their own PVCs too.
