Eburu congratulates Omisore 

The Eburu of Iba, Oba (Prof.) Adekunle Adeogun Okunoye Oyedeji II has congratulated the former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore on his emergence as the National Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The monarch in a congratulatory message to Omisore describes the new APC National Secretary as an illustrious son of Osun State and a foremost leader with royality. 

He said "We consider his election as a great feat for the entire Osun State. We are happy and feel proud when any of our sons and daughters are recognized and trusted by their group members." 

 "We congratulate Osun people that such a big leadership position was brought home. We shall do everything devoid of partisanship to ensure that he succeeds in the discharge of his duties and responsibilities," the monarch assured.

Also, the Eburu used the emergence of Prince Omisore to admonish politicians to be more tolerant and open to opposing views. 

"We should respect every citizen's right of association and the government should not be using perceived  political association to punish anyone or deny people their rights, especially in the appointment to Chieftaincy. It has now been proven that political relationships are mostly for convenience and temporary whereas most government decisions are irreversible," he said. 

Oba Okunoye appreciates Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State for his support for all Osun indigenes aspiring to various national positions, saying that "it is our prayer that more great things will continue to come to Osun during his tenure."
