Bye-Election: FEDPOFFA Elects New Official to Represent Congregation at Council Level
The staff of The Federal Polytechnic Offa has elected new official to represent the congregation at the Governing Council level.
The election which was held on Thursday 24th of March, 2022 at the Polytechnic Main campus had three candidates as contestants.
The winner, Mr. Fatai Olabooye Kolawole, a Chief Technologist from Computer Science Department emerged with a total number of four hundred and eight (408) votes. He, thanked staff members who entrusted him with their votes and vowed to work in line with his plans as promised during the manifesto.
Also speaking, the Electoral Committee chairman, Mr.M.O.Soleye noted that the election was imperative to fill a vacant position created by the demise of a late member.
He congratulated the winner and commended the school management led by Dr. Olarongbe Afolabi, the electoral committee members, electoral observers, and other staff of the Polytechnic who took part to ensure free and fair election. He also prayed for the soul of the deceased to continue to rest in peace.
