BREAKING: Nigerian activist, Sunday Igboho released from Benin Republic

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has been released.

This was confirmed on Monday via a statemnt released by Maxwell Adeleye, Communications Secretary, Ilana Omo Oodua (IOO).

The spokesman said the Yoruba Nation agitator was handed over to IOO leader, Prof. Banji Akintoye, by the Benin Republic Government.

IOO is the umbrella body of a number of Yoruba self-determination groups.

Adeleye said Igboho’s freedom is “a triumph of truth over darkness in Yoruba land”.
