Governor Oyetola's Second Term Will Be Fruitful - Speaker Owoeye

Osun House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon Timothy Owoeye has assured the people of the state that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola will consolidate on his first term performance during his second term as Governor of the state.

According to the Speaker, Governor Oyetola has lined up and has been unfolding one after the other many good policies beneficial to the people of the state, saying it is a pointer to the fact that his second term will definitely be more fruitful and better than the first term.

The Speaker made this known during an interview with journalists at the grand finale of the Strategic Engagement Programme of Governor Oyetola, held at the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo on Thursday.

The Honourable Speaker reiterated that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola will not disappoint the people of Osun as they vote and return him as Osun Governor come July 16, 2022.

Speaking further on the Strategic Engagement Programme, he described it as a good one which affords the Governor the opportunity to meet with party members to express his second term ambition adding that it is democracy at work.

He maintained that Governor Oyetola's action shows that he is a grassroots politician that knows his onions and whose laudable gesture was greeted with good responses from the party members at the three senatorial districts in the state.

Speaking further, he opined that based on his performance, Mr Oyetola has turned the state around and has proved himself to be a committed, diligent and dedicated Governor who always does what is right in the interest of the people.

Mr. Owoeye expressed his confidence that with the support of the people of the state, Governor Oyetola will emerge as the party's candidate In the forthcoming primary election in the state.  

He then urged the party members to go out en-masse and vote for him on Saturday and at the Osun gubernatorial election slated for July 16, 2022 in order to bring his second term ambition to fruition.
