Time To Seek The Face Of Almighty God Adeoti Charges All

Nigerians in general and Osun State residents in particular have been charged to see the current challenges facing the country as an avenue to move move closer to their Creator in their daily activities.

This was contained in special statement in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ issued and personally signed by a governorship hopeful on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Secretary to the State Government of Osun,  Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital.

According to him, the current challenges bedevilling the nation are not peculiar to Nigeria alone but rather a global phenomenal.
"The current challenges facing our nation today should not be seen as being peculiar to Nigeria alone but rather a global phenomenal that only God can intervene and save us from its negative effects," Adeoti stressed.
He further reiterated that God, being the Creator of the universe is not unaware of all its current travails but just waiting for mankind to move closer to Him and seek His face and all will become history.

He therefore charged practitioners of all religious beliefs do redirect all their adherents to seek the face of God as panacea to confronting the global challenges.

Adeoti particularly admonished Christians across the world not to see the festivity of the birth of Jesus Christ as a time to merely wine and dine but a time for sober reflection on the need to love one another and spread God's love to mankind irrespective of race, political and religious beliefs in their daily living.
"Christmas should be a time for sober reflection on the part of all Christians as not merely for wining and dining, but a time to spread the love of God towards mankind as reflected in your daily living," he further stated.

Expressing optimism, Adeoti emphasised that with prayers and a renewed mindset, all the social and economic challenges facing the country would become part of the nation's history.

He therefore admonished all Nigerians that the task of nation's building does not rest with those at the helms of affairs alone but with all and sundry with total dedication to the nation's rejuvenation.

"The task of nation's building should be seen as a task for all and sundry and not to be left to only those at the helms of affairs of our country alone," Adeoti further charged.
