OSUN ASSEMBLY HOLDS COMMENDATION SITTING FOR LATE DEPUTY SPEAKER

The State of Osun House of Assembly has today hold commendation sitting for late honourable member of second assembly of the State Hon. Moses Oladipo Gbotoso who represented Ilesa East between 1999 to 2003.
The Speaker of the Parliament Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye who received the corpse at the entrance of the State of Osun House of Assembly Osogbo.
He described the late lawmaker as good character person who lived fulfilled life.
He said late deputy speaker was workaholic and lover of God during his life time.
According to him, "We are gathering here today to celebrate a life well spent by former active deputy speaker of the state assembly".
"Baba Gbotoso was lover of God and workaholic during his life time" he added.
He urged every one to copy the late lawmaker attitudes and habits while alive.
He advised his children to emulate their father good characters and take after his deed's.

In their separate remarks, his colleagues in the second assembly Hon. Hassan Olawuwu, Hon. Akin Awodiya and Professor. Mojeed Alabi described the late lawmaker as loyal, faithful and good deputy speaker.
They said the late Gbotoso was the pillar of stability and support to the office of the second assembly speakers.
They also noted that the late honourable was accommodative, honest and cheerful giver.
They all prayed for departed lawmakers to have peaceful rest.
However, in his biography read by Hon. Wale Adedoyin representing Ilesa West State Constituency noted that the late Gbotoso was born in 1936 at Ilesa.
Late Gbotoso joined defunct Action Group in 1953, Councillor Ward 6 between 1981 and 1993, Deputy Speaker of second assembly between 1999 and 2003 respectively.  
Hon. Moses Oladipo Gbotoso native of ilesa died in September 19th, 2021 at the ripe age of 85.
