Governor Oyetola ; An Outstanding Leader In Governance.....Says DAAR Communications management, as it announces his formal decoration with the award on the 6th of December.

The Governor of  Osun state, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has no doubt earned yet another national feat and recognition with his choice by the management of DAAR Communications Plc as Nigerias most  Outstanding Leader in Governance.

DAAR Communications PLC, whose headquarters is in Lagos, Nigeria is  the custodian of African Independent Television (AIT) and Ray Power 100.5FM.

Governor Oyetolas nomination  was revealed in a letter of award signed by the Group Managing Director of the organisation, Mr Tony Akiotu which in turn was presented by Dr Ambrose Somide Managing Director - Raypower/Faaji FM on behalf of the GMD of the organization to Governor Oyetola in his office on Monday.

According to DAAR Communications, Oyetola’s emergence for the award is as a result of his tireless efforts at attaining  and entrenching unbelievable level of developments like no other in the State.

Dr Ambrose Somide while congratulating the governor on the award also stated that DAAR Communications' choice of him as the nation’s Outstanding Leader in Governance came from painstaking nomination and selection processes by the organization.

He added that the governors' people friendly policies and good governance especially in running the affairs of the  state without embarking on any loan spree from any quarter has made him a governor to beat by other governors in Nigeria.

The DAAR Communication Managing Director who urged the governor to keep the tempo of his leadership style high informed the gathering that the official decoration of the award on the governor will take place formally during the fourth edition of the DAAR Awards in Abuja slated for the 6th of  December  2021.

In his acceptance speech laced with gratitude to God and management of DAAR communications Plc, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola said no doubt it was a manifestation of love and respect coming from an equally highly respected organisations like   DAAR Communications Plc. 

Oyetola in expressing his further delight added that the award has further challenged him to do more things  developmentally, for the people of Osun.
 
He did not fail to also urge the Raymond Dokpesi owned DAAR Communications Plc to keep up the good work of being one of Nigerias respected private broadcast media organisations.

Top government functionaries of the state of Osun witnessed the brief but symbolic event cum courtesy call on the governor. Among them were the state deputy governor, Mr Benedict Alabi, Chief of Staff, Dr Charles Akinola, Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon Abdullahi Binuyo and the state Head of Service Dr Festus Olowogboyega Oyebade, as well as  Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, her counterpart from   Education, Mr Folorunso Oladoyin and Special Adviser on Education, Hon.Jamiu Olawumi, State chairman, Universal Basic Education Board, Hon Ajibola Famurewa and the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Ismail Omipidan.
