Senator Basiru Joins Igbimo Agba

Senator Ajibola Basiru of Osun Central Senatorial District has been inducted into Igbimo Agba APC Osun. Igbimo Agba APC in the State is the apex body saddled with the responsibility of seeing to resolution of crises in the party and charting courses for the progress of APC in the State.

Senator Ajibola Basiru joined the likes of Dr Yemi Farounbi, Senator Iyiola Omisore and Professor Deremi Abubakre to join the league and ranks of Baba Bisi Akande, Engineer Sola Akinwumi in Igbimo Agba in an advisory capacity. The body is also to serve as a buffer to the party and provide support for the Government at all levels. 

In his address, Chairman, Igbimo Agba APC Osun, Engineer Sola Akinwumi, at the ceremony at the residence of Chief Adebisi Akande in Ila expressed gratitude to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for his assistance to the platform at all times.

Engineer Akinwumi disclosed that the core objective of the Igbimo Agba Osun, first of all, is to act as a buffer for the party and also to serve as a support for the government at all levels. Secondly, to provide a platform for solving problems. The composition/membership of the body is generally state based but

taking cognizance of political involvement, experience and exposure as this is a prerequisite for a meaningful and successful political venture.
