Cassava Farmers In Osogbo Federal Constituency Laud Senator Basiru's Efforts At Boosting Agriculture

The training of Cassava farmers in Osun Central Senatorial District facilitated by Senator Ajibola Basiru  continued on Tuesday in Ifon Osun under Osogbo Federal Constituency.

The Senator while flagging off the programme in the constituency said the initiative is to further showcase his passion and commitment to deliver on the mandate of the people.

Represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Barrister Bisi Babalola, the Senator said by the end of the week, 450 Cassava farmers in Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun and Orolu federal constituency, Boripe, Ifelodun and Odo-Otin federal constituency as well as Ila, Ifedayo and Boluwaduro federal constituency.

Senator Basiru urged the participants to optimise the skills acquired from the week-long training to in-turn positively influence their business.

Declaring the programme open, former Deputy Governor, State of Osun, Mrs Titi Laoye-Ponle lauded the Senator for positively impacting the lives of his constituents especially farmers who have a huge role to play in the economic development of the country.

In their separate remarks, Surveyor Johnson Koledole and Pa Raheem Fefe, Alhaji Kunle Kudaisi and others eulogised Senator Ajibola Basiru for his brilliant initiatives aimed at bringing succour to the people.
