3rd Edition of Amuwo-Odofin Influential 50 is dedicated to Youths - Convener

The annual glamorized event, Amuwo-Odofin Influential 50, has kicked off its first activity for this year's event with a press conference held in Festac Town.

Amuwo Odofin Influential 50 commenced in 2019 and was designed to identify those categories of people who champion the growth and development of Amuwo Odofin Local Government.

The press conference saw the attendance of the Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Resident Association (AORA), Prince Adeyemi Ayilara, the Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Amuwo-Odofin Chapter, Mr. Gbenga Akinbinu, pressmen and women and the organizers who relayed information on the agendas of the upcoming event. 

Speaking at the event, Mr. Adejumo Abayomi, the convener, declared that the 3rd edition was targeted to applaud the youths in the community.

"The who dey breeet edition of the Amuwo Odofin Influential 50, seeks to celebrate the outstanding youths while challenging others by a clarion call to join the generation of Alphas that will continue to push for the growth of Amuwo Odofin Local Government".

Mr. Gbenga, who spoke on the selection process noted that it would be transparent and meticulous as nomination channels will be open to the public to decide. He clarified that a careful screening process will then be undergone to produce the 50 most influential youths to be awarded.
