OSUN LAUNCHES CONDITIONAL CASH TRANSFER PAYMENT SMART-CARD.... Promises due payments to beneficiaries...

Conditional Cash Transfer CCT beneficiaries in Osun excitedly received the launched Identification Payment Smart-Card made available by the government to them.

This is as the government of Osun through the office of the Social Intervention Programmes pledged that the government will ensure prompt payment of their monthly support money due to the beneficiaries.

The Special Adviser to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Social Intervention Programmes Hon. Lukman Abimbola Bello made this known in Boripe local government, venue of the launch ceremony.

According to him, the launched CCT Smart-Card which is distributed to 15,562 vulnerables drawn from all local governments in Osun including Modakeke area office, were selected based on the World Bank register, is without the interference of the government, he added that the selection is free and fair and not partisan.

Pointing at the various achievement of the government of th upe day in Osun under the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, Hon Lukman lauded the infrastructural projects such as road constructions, provision of food support, and good and qualitative healthcare delivery among others.

Hon. Lukman who is also the Osun State Focal Person on National Social Investment Programme commended the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Faroq Shadiya for the laudable initiative of the CCT payment Smart-Card, he added that the card can be used directly on Automated Teller Machine ATM, just as the normal ATM card.

He prayed for the people and solicited for their continued support of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, he also urged them to make the support a reality by returning Governor Oyetola as Osun Governor with their votes in July 2022.

Also, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Local Government Affairs, Hon. Aderoju Akano among others were at the program.

Highlight of the program was the distribution of the Conditional Cash Transfer Payment and Card and Cash to beneficiaries at the venue.
