Osun residents have begin registration on the nationwide exercise for Federal Government Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Loan scheme tagged: 'GEEP 0.2'.
The program which was launched sometime ago in the state, organized by the Senior Special Assistance, SSA to Osun Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Social Intervention Hon Lukman Abimbola Bello kicked off registration in Boripe, Osogbo, Ede North and Ede South local governments in the state.
Hon Lukman Bello during his monitoring tour of the registration exercise, said one of the objectives of the scheme is to ensure that it is a hitch free exercise, he mentioned that the GEEP 2.0 has three branches as market, trader and farmers monies.
The SSA to Governor Oyetola on Social Intervention Programmes who also doubles as the Osun Focal Person for National Social Investment Programme highlighted the market monies for market women, the trader monies for young men and women who are traders and the farmers monies for farmers respectively.
Commending the orderly conduct of Osun residents on the exercise, Hon Lukman also praised National Orientation Agency, NOA officials, registering the people for the GEEP 0.2 loan exercise in local governments across the state.
He used the medium to praise All Progressive Congress, APC led Federal Government administration for providing the opportunity to Osun people irrespective of their political interest and association.
Hon Lukman also enjoined the people of Osun state to support the present APC led ruling party under the leadership of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, he added that such decision will yield dividends of democracy to be accessed as benefits to citizens of the state.
