Letter To Awwal“This definitely won’t be the last time I get to brag about you.”

Dear Awwal Okikiola Lawal,

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step,  just like it surely ends with one too. Seems like forever when you started on this journey(succeded at some things and failed at some others), One thing that's made this day possible is your resilience to keep going against all odds.

It took a lot of hard work to reach this goal. You had to show up every day, whether you felt like it or not. I hope you feel great about what you’ve accomplished, and I hope you’ll continue to be a person who shows up day in and day out for those things that are worthwhile and important in life.

It seems like just yesterday when we were just a kid starting high school…now you’re a confident young man about to receive your bachelor's degree in law (ll.b). It’s been our joy to watch you grow and achieve so much these past years. Hope you know how proud I am and how much I love and respect you.

Do you know what makes your graduation extra special? It’s having watched you grow up, having so many good memories of you, and knowing all the challenges you’ve worked through to get to this day. I just can't be more proud of you.

Needless to say, this feat must be for you and our parents (Comrade Waheed Lawal and Mrs. Aishat Lawal). Their will and tenacity to see that you excel at all costs (by pushing you beyond what you contrive as your limit and guiding you at all times) is one thing that'll continue to guide my path going forward. Thank you, dad! Thank you, mum! May the good Lord continue to bless you and bestow upon you his blessing, grace, and longevity of life to reap all the good fruits of your labour (Amen).

And to every other person, that's contributed to this success in one way or the other, I say a big thank you. This world seems like a better place because of y'all.

You're convoking on this day, 21st day of September, 2021 after some certain number of years as an undergraduate of the prestigious Osun State University (Uniosun). So, this is me celebrating you today, just like I'll always do every time.

Well, why won't I celebrate you when I'm clearly on the path to having a personal legal adviser🤭🤗😊😇. Go forth and bag the bar certificate in styles brother and many more accomplishments.

What a proud day! I just couldn’t be happier for you!.
Cheers to greater heights 🥰
In anticipation of more success,
Mustapha Lawal
