EID EL KABIR: EBURU FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS, CALLS FOR PRAYERS AGAINST INSECURITY

A renowned educationist and traditional ruler of Iba, in Osun State, the Eburu of Iba, Oba (Prof) Adekunle Adeogun Okunoye Oyedeji 11 has felicitated with Muslims across the world and Iba in particular as they celebrate this year's Eid El Kabir.

The monarch also urged Muslims in the country to use the occasion of this year's Eid El Kabir to pray for peace in all parts of the country.

In a goodwil message issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the monarch, Bamigbola Gbolagunte, the Eburu said the current security situation in the country calls for prayers.

The royal father also tasked government to fight the current challenges facing security in the country to a standstill.

Also, he called on Muslims to demonstrate the culture of obedience which Eid El Kabir stands for in all their dealings.

This is even as he enjoined Muslims and non Muslims to obey the authorities in all their endeavours, just as he urged the government to also respect the constitutional rights of the citizens.

While praying for an end to all challenges facing the nations of the earth, especially Nigeria, the Eburu of Iba called on Muslims to pray for an end to COVID 19 and other challenges.
