Alleged forgery: FCC chairman in last minute battle

The chairman, Federal Character Commission (FCC), Dr Muheeba Dankaka may have taken measures to prevent further investigation of the allegations of forgery leveled against her by a human rights group.

Indications emerged that Mrs Dankaka has embarked on late minutes efforts to get her self out of the forgery allegations as she is making frantic efforts to lobby the powers that be.

This is even as Dankanka who was said to be in serious scandal was said to have directed officials of the commission to change her name from Muheeba Farida Dankanka to Muheeba Dankanka.

Already, it was learnt that Mrs Dankaka had instructed officials of the commission to change all her pictures in all the offices at the headquarters of the commission.

A source within the commission have that the name on the portrait of the chairman was written as Muheeba F Dankanka, while the initial (F) was removed from the new one.
Observers of recent happenings in the commission observed that the latest efforts of Mrs Dankaka might not be unconnected with the forgery allegations leveled against her.

A rights group had recently raised the alarm over inconsistence in the name of the FCC chairman as her names appear in different forms in her academic results.
