Osun APC: Fakokunde Denies Audio In Circulation

APC Caretaker Women Leader in the State of Osun, Alhaja Kudirat Fakokunde has denied the allegations levelled against her in a circulating audio clip.

The 1 minute, 53 seconds audio accused her of convoking a meeting with APC women leaders in wards across the state where she allegedly ordered them to swear loyalty for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and Prince Gboyega Famodun's second term as Governor and party chairman respectively, rained curses on former Governor Rauf Aregbesola as well as disassociating themselves from a caucus, The Osun Progressives TOP.

In a press release made available to our medium, Alhaja Fakokunde said,  “I have never cursed any leader and I will never do such to any of my party leaders. I stand for the unity of all the leaders and I have been working towards the progress of the party. 

"I worked strenuously for the success of His Excellency, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the former Governor of the State of Osun and Minister of interior and today, I am mobilising for the successful tenure of His Excellency, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, for the  continuity of  the good governance in the State of Osun."

Fakokunde reaffirmed her loyalty to the party and the betterment of members.

She also urged the party members to be united and mobilise for the second term of Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola.
