Adeboye Commissions New Health Centre In Ibadan

The wife of the General overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God,(RCCG), Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye, has commissioned an annexe of the Redeemers health centre in Ibadan.

The dedication and commissioning of the centre was held, on Tuesday, at the premises of the new health centre located at Ikolaba, Ibadan the Oyo State capital.

The health centre took off with the use of 63 specialists in order to give adequate treatment to the patients of the clinic.

Speaking, Adeboye noted that projects such as health centres meant to heal the sick are what God has supported, just as she added that healing is what God wanted for all human being.

She revealed that the church is also looking forward to having such health centres across the 36 states of the country.

She, therefore, lauded the initiator of the project, the pastor in charge of the province, regional pastors and the entire staff members of the health centre.

The pastor in charge, RCCG Oyo 2, Pastor Ayo Arije, explained that the motivation to start the clinic, sprang from the vision of Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye to commence a medical facility at the Redemption camp ten years ago.

Adding that idea arose from Adeboye’s passion to take care of the increasing number of people suffering from physical medical afflictions whose faith alone might not be able to ensure divine healing.

“The motivation to start a clinic by the then Pastor in charge of the province PICP of RCCG Oyo Province 2, Pastor M.A Abisona sprang from the vision of our mother in Israel, Mummy Adeboye to commence a medical facility at the Redemption camp about 10 years ago. This arose from passion to take care of the ever-increasing number of people suffering from physical medical afflictions but whose faith alone might not be able to ensure divine healing.

“The need for expansion was met divinely when God made this property available late last year. The result is what we are seeing today. It is our hope that as this new centre grows it continues in no less way to be a centre of hope for the sick and afflicted.”

Also speaking, the chairman of, Board of Redeemers health centre, Professor Adeniyi Adenipekun, represented by the secretary to the board, Barrister Gabriel Onoja, stated that the centre was established after having observed that the former structure was becoming inadequate to provide the demand for tertiary health care delivering.

Adding that the centre had planned to do some surgeries free of charge as Christian social responsibilities.
