Adeleke University Partners NGOs on Training Students on Public Health Project

Adeleke University based in Ede part of Osun state has partnered Hope For Family Development Initiative (HFDI) and Society For Life Changers and Good Parental Care (SoLife) on the training of its students on Public Health Project categorized as humanitarian project, as part of the curriculum for the level of students.

The Seventy University students who are on 300 level were welcomed at the headquarters of the Non-Governmental Organizations situated in Osogbo the state capital.

The Executive Director Hope for Family Development Initiative, and Chairman BOT Society For Life Changers and Good Parental Care, Mr Aremu Stephen Akinyele in his  welcome address charged them to see the field work training as an opportunity. 

He added that Hope For Family Development Initiative HFDI, is privileged to  take the students based on its good reputation and landmark made over the years with hard work and tenacity.

He urged the Adeleke University students to make impact to their communities, adding that this will leave a lasting impression and legacy about them.

Mr Akinyele also  encouraged the Public Health students to be active so they can have a good report in their practical practice

Also, the state ACOMIN Program Officer, Mr Segun David Amoto urged the students to embrace everything about Public Health, which he said is humanitarian compassing.

Amoto informed them that evaluation will be made on their community of study, it's scope of work, report, and the environment at large.

Speaking on behalf of the students, one of the lecturers of the Public Health department of the Adeleke University, Mrs Kayode appreciated HFDI/SoLife for accepting the students of the institution. She added that the non governmental organizations was considered based on the outstanding performances of the organization and it's impact on communities, states and country.

She also commended the NGOs on its passion and provision of health support to categories of people in it's state, particularly women, children, and the marginalized.

The students will receive weeks of field training on programs such as Community Development Projects, Sensitization, Outreaches, Female Genital Mutilation project, Malaria control (ACOMIN) rated and other related activities.
